I am posting these pictures from home because I am sure the kids are anxious to see their fish online, but I don't have any of the stats. I will add them from work tomorrow.
These kids are Diane and Jake McCoy. They are John Leon III's kids.

Dad went out fishing with his brothers and one of my brothers on opening weekend. He released a 26.5" Walleye that he caught in 62.5' of water in Lost Bay.
Uncle Dick released a slot Walleye. Uncle Dennis released a 26" Walleye. My brother John Christison released a 24.5" Walleye and a 20" Small Mouth Bass.
We had a group of guys from the Toronto area up this year. Steve Smith of Mississauga, ON released a 26" Walleye. Rick Carlstrom of Aurora, ON released a 21.75" Walleye and a 33.5" Northern. Les Mack of Mallerytown, ON released a 17" Small Mouth Bass.
Bill Temte of La Crosse, WI released a 36" and a 37" Northern.
Ron Holzer of Hopkinsville KY released a 36” Northern.
Al Hiles of Green By, WI released two 36” Northern.
Todd Quaintance of Milaca, MN released a 22.25” and a 23” Walleye and a 33” Northern.

During the week of June 7 - 14, 2003 our group from Wisconsin staying in cabin 4 had fantastic fishing. In total 52 slot sized or bigger Walleye and 9 slot sized Northern were returned to the water.
Henry Rosenow caught 4 Walleye in the slot, 5 Walleye over the slot and 1 slot sized Northern.
Dave Carlson caught 2 Walleye in the slot, 3 Walleye over the slot and 3 slot sized Northern.
Jim Rogneby caught 3 slot sized Walleye and 2 over the slot.
Dan Paff caught 4 slot sized Walleye, 1 over the slot and a slot sized Northern.
Emmett Keller caught 6 slot sized Walleye and 3 over the slot.
John Pontius caught 6 slot sized Walleye.
Rick Mattison caught 4 Walleye - 2 in and 2 over the slot.
Jim Murphy caught 4 slot sized Walleye, 4 over the slot and 2 slot sized Northern.
Dan Mumm caught 3 slot sized Walleye, 2 over and 2 slot sized Northern.
Of the 22 Walleye over the slot this group caught 18 were returned to the water. 4 were just too good to resist and are now at the taxidermist. The biggest Walleye this group caught were 2 30 inchers.

The Leon family has had some wonderful luck since their arrival on Aug. 10. After 45 minutes on the water Saturday night, John Jr. of Glen Carbon, IL, released this 32" Musky (displayed by John III) 
Sunday, Aug. 11 John III of Arlington Hghts, IL, released a 30" Musky.
And on Monday, Aug. 12 Marge of Glen Carbon, IL, released this 23" Walleye.

During his 3rd annual trip to Big Eagle Lodge, Doug Burgreen of Summerville, SC walked into the little Trout lake located at the South West end of Eagle Lake. While there he caught, and released a 22" Lake Trout on July 26.
Fishing a more traditional way Doug released a 18.5" Small Mouth Bass.

Norm Marsolek brought his daughter, Heidi Flint, up for a few days fishing this year. Norm released a 22" Walleye on June 2, a 18" (4 lb) Small Mouth Bass on June 4, and a 23" Walleye on June 6. Heidi released a 23" Walleye on the 6th, as well.

The Perreault family of Grand Rapids, MN, had a productive year, (And I don't just mean Ann & Barry's new arrival Patrick (7 weeks at the time of his first trip to Big Eagle) who did not release any fish but did go out on the boat.)
Bob released this 30 1/2" Walleye which he caught August 10th.
Craig released a 25" Walleye.
Barry released a 24" Walleye.

On their second trip to Big Eagle Lodge the Burgreen family of Summerville, South Carolina, went on a "fly out" and caught (and released) 17 Musky on July 25. The first fish of the fly out was caught by Wilma.
Out of Eagle Lake, Alan released an 18 1/2" Small Mouth Bass & a 32 1/2" Northern.
Doug released 24" Walleye.

While down on the new dock admiring John's handy work, Jackie dropped her line in the water for the first time in 5 years. She pulled out (and then released) a 19" Walleye and a 14" Small Mouth Bass.

Our only Canadian guests this year released a couple of nice fish back into the lake.

Judy Reed of Blaine MN released a 29 1/4" (9 1/4 lbs) Walleye 7/1/01. She was using her ultra light rod when Walleye hit. Because she was released this fish will produce 250,000 eggs next spring. With luck, 20 or 30 of those eggs will grow adult size.
